One of the problems we are hearing about is that of the scarcity of gasoline, in part because the service stations themselves often lack the electricity to run the pumps. The purpose of this thread is to let people share what they know about the gasoline situation in their neighborhoods. Who has it? Who needs it and doesn't? Any tips for keeping ahead of this issue?
KHOU has a gasoline finder on its website. http://www.khou.com/gasstation/ Not sure how reliable it is, but here it is for what it's worth.

The Valero gas stations at Bissonnet @ Newcastle & Bellaire @ Academy (near Stella Link) are both open. I went to the Bellaire Blvd. location at about 9:30 last night and did not have to wait in a line. Not sure what the market rate is at the moment, but I paid $3.59/gallon last night.
